Writing:
Bothstudents and parents are anxious about writing. Many parents ask, "Mychild's writing is full of mistakes. My child does not use very hard word. Whatcan I do?" In this class, we follow the North American practice ofencouraging students to write as much as possible about topics they areinterested in. Instead of forcing students to worry about using "very hardwords" or using the correct grammar, we will express their feelings andideas based on words and ideas they learn from each unit and theme. They willlearn about the writing process and to write, check, re-write, and proofreadtheir writing.
Writingis also tied in with the students' life experience and cognitive development.You cannot force
students to write about "an unforgettable trip to the beach" if theyhave never been there. The class will gauge students' experience and levels andassign appropriate topics. 写作

Writea sentence about running- "I run/ I like to run".
Writea sentence about the place you like to run- "I like to run in thepark".
Writea story about running- "I like to run in the park. I run fast. My mom runswith me. I am happy".
Writea crazy (fiction) story about you and running-"I run in Century Park. I seea dinosaur. The dinosaur is big and scary. I am scare so I run to my mom".
Handwritingat this stage is a very important component. While it looks deceptively simple,the class will place a very heavy emphasis on students' ability to writelegibly. Young students are still developing their motor skill as well as skillin writing the English letters correctly (i.e.: b and d, n and h, p and q). 写作:(按能力顺序)

写一个关于你和跑步的疯狂的故事(虚构)-“我在世纪公园跑步。我看见了一只恐龙。这只恐龙又大又可怕。我很害怕所以朝妈妈跑去。”
书写在这个阶段是很重要的部分。它并不像看上去那么简单,此时我们会着重培养学生们能够写得清晰的能力。年轻的学生还在培养他们自己正确书写英文字母的能力。(如b 和d, n 和h, p 和 q).
哇啦哇啦英语学员学习UP4以后或测试后可以进行Wonders1的学习。一些家长刚上手看第一个单元,每句话基本不超过10个词,觉得好简单哦。往后翻到第二个单元,勉强可以接受,再往下翻到了第三单元,发现基本无法继续学了。其实你翻第一个单元,得出“简单”的结论,也不是因为这个教材所教授给你的让你觉得简单,而是孩子在学习这个教材前,已经有了一定的词汇基础。到了第二个单元,发现如果只学了第一个单元那寥寥几个单词,学习变得很困难了。为什么会如此呢?道理也很简单,外国小朋友无时无刻不在补充着New Words,而我们的孩子缺少语言环境,学的英语就是那么寥寥几个单词。所以无论你学的老外的教材,还是中国人自己编的教材,要交流都发现“Always can’t find a word to say”,因为内存不够哦。
