JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & RELATED COMPETENCIES
Project /Practice Management
•        Develop Ohaus’ Product Global/Regional Service Strategy & Policy.
•        Develop Service Manual Standard; produce & maintain individual Product Families Service Manuals according to the Standard.
•        Define Spare Parts & Tools needed to service products and released them in accordance with respective engineering processes to the market(s).
•        Develop & maintain Web site base service information center for effective and efficient use by Ohaus internal and external customers.
•        Develop Product Service Training Programs for all serviceable Ohaus products.
•        Plan & organize Training Seminars for all Ohaus service personnel.
•        Provides “Day to Day” Product Service Support to all Regional Service Support Organizations.
•        Develop and maintain database system for all incoming service inquiries.
•        Participate in Product Development Projects as scheduled in SBU business plan.
•        Creates and executes respective project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
•        Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities to.
•        Reviews deliverables prepared by project team before passing to client.
•        Effectively applies Ohaus QA processes and enforces project standards.
•        Ensures respective project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Project Accounting
•        Tracks and reports Service team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
•        Manages respective project budget.
Financial Management
•        Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.
•        Understands our pricing model and billing procedures.




Business Development
•        Leads proposal efforts including completing project scoping.
•        Effectively conveys our message in both written and verbal business development discussions.
Communication
•        Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
•        Holds regular status meetings with project team.
•        Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
•        Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
•        Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
•        Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Technical Understanding
•        Bachelor degree in engineering, 3+ years experience in service.
•        Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
•        Very good written and verbal English.
•        Very good communication skills.
•        Good presentation and polite, tactful and friendly character.
•        Possesses a thorough understanding of our capabilities.
•        The ability to handle customer complains and difficult situations in patient, calm and effective way.
