Involvement, empowerment, discovery and independence are key themes in Middle School. We encourage students to explore their potential, try new things, take responsibility for their learning, care for themselves and each other, and take constructive risks. Our wide range of special interest electives such as Recreation for Life, IT Fundamentals, Sport Performance and Coaching, French Patisserie, Drama, Ceramics and many more, inspire and motivate students to develop their passions and experience learning to the full.

In Year 9 and 10 we also emphasise community and participation. Every student is encouraged to share in the fun of organising and taking part in a host of House activities, Sport carnivals, Music and Drama performances, SRC and our innovative Contribution to the Community program, where students confront social issues through practical community situations..

Years 7, 8 and 9 are years of discovery and exploration in which our boys and girls build on the experiences and learning of their primary years and prepare for the rigours of the senior years.

At an important time in the social and intellectual development of young adolescents, we have tailored the physical and educational environment to meet their particular needs.

Friendship, respect and trust have a chance to develop between boys and girls in our co-educational community. Formal and informal training supports Middle School’s many opportunities for leadership, which foster self-confidence and a sense of responsibility

The young men and women in Years 10, 11 and 12 are preparing for tertiary study and life beyond secondary school. We help them do so by providing a pre-tertiary environment that allows them to become self-directed, lifelong learners..
