With Family Safety, you can:
Block users from using the Internet until they sign in to the Family Safety Filter with their Windows Live ID (A user name and password used to sign in to any Windows Live product or service. Block or allow access to categories of websites according to their content. For example, you can block websites that refer to web mail or pornography.

Have the same safety settings for everyone, or create individual settings for each member of your family.
Supervise your child's contact list (A list of contacts, containing the names, addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses of each of your contacts. The same address book is used by several Windows Live products and services, including Windows Live Hotmail and Windows Live Messenger.) and manage who they can contact through Windows Live. To use contact management for a particular child, you must have created an individual account for the child.
View an activity report (Summary of a child's online activity, including information about people the child exchanged mail or instant messages with, and websites the child has visited or tried to visit.) that shows you the websites that your children have visited.
Manage your children's requests to view blocked websites and add contacts, either immediately or through the Requests list (List of requests for access to blocked websites or contacts, made by child users on a computer with the Family Safety Filter installed, and approved or denied by administrators on the Family Safety website.) .
