有人知道“炒面”英语吗的

女儿幼儿园教的英语，她回来说炒面的英语我忘了，然后问我怎么读，由于没教材，网上查了是Chou mein,可她说不对，我也不知道，有知道的吗？[em19] 告诉我一声[em01].

chow mien, 应该是粤语或者福建话 翻过去的--以前很多国外的中餐馆都有这些地方的人经营；
我的感觉正规说法应该是fried noodle.

英国人知道chow Mien， 菜谱上好像也这么写的。但是我忘记面是怎么拼写

its pretty common for fried nooldes to be called "Chow Mein",but they both make sense. Keep in mind that not every forienger eats chinese food or is familiar with chinese food. so,even if you know the english word for some food,it dosent mean that people will understand..
